sophist....Why is this so hard to understand? If others on your board are still responding to this individual, then apparently he is serving some purpose on the board. When everyone quits responding to him, he will leave out of boredom. Take it from one who knows.

sophist, and therein is the answer -- and for yourself, it would work equally well. iHub has provided the mechanism for control of so-called disruptive posters.

You seem to be saying that for posters with lack of self-control who feel compelled to respond to so-called disruptive posters or refuse to use the filter so as not to have to read such posts, you want iHub to impose another mechanism so as to control posters you find objectionable, but who otherwise meet iHub's User Agreement.

Have I summarized your position correctly?

I haven't looked but does IH have a filter where you can also ignore responses to people that you have on ignore?
SI has it and it's a great tool IMO.
If I am reading you correctly, that would solve your problem wouldn't it?
