I read you and for all your examples there are tons of stocks that simply suck and go down because of that. I have no idea where GnF fits...I doubt folks can claim manipulation w/o 1st asking has the company done all it could to garner shareholder trust and support. No arguing as to whether manipulation exists...heck life is a manipulation...

OT:Excellent post as usual seabiscuit...I learned a number of years ago to see analysts as a shareholders enemy...not protector.They IMO are the pump & dump artists...Lebed for example got nailed by the Feds for what analysts do on a daily basis.I learned by buying into HOTT just after $38 52 wk high and bought on a pre earnings dip at $34...Earnings beat expectations! Grrrreat!!Wrong...An analyst named Kloppenburger said system sales beat expectations nicely but she thought same store sales should have been slightly better...Well HOTT finally turned north again at $25 !! Did I mention that I dont like analyst??(LOL)...Simple
