Actually, I just figured out from reading Alexander Elder's "Trading for a Living" that they don't need to turn down.
Price has made a new high, the oscillator has not, hence there is a divergence in effect now.
He also says to look at weekly charts every day, because momentum isn't going to wait for the weekend to change direction.
Makes sense when you think about it, no?
