Think of the catalysts for this technology for this inevitable technology to be embraced. Amazon is on the money with this and I can see alot of folks coming together in the private and public sectors to make this a reality within 5 years. It's a huge cost saver long-term for amazon especially if the carbon tax happens. Also an application like this will change the public's perception on drones snd the government will be all for that. I think this will be a gamechanger for Amazon and they should maximize this conversation because it will cut costs long-term and increase sales also.
What stops people from stealing packages at the door? Also I think this will only be a U.S.A problem since there really is no gun control. If someone wants your package they would be taking them now. The GPS guidance systems will be the problem. Every innovated idea starts with kinks.
