If you choose to invest in a stock, especially a penny stock, you had darn sure better be ready to accept that fact that you are going to be diluted (probably heavily), the balance sheet will be poor, and cash will be tight. It is just a fact.

Why choose to do work for a company in shares instead of cash if the shares will be worth nothing???

Exactly.....because they all believe their shares will return them a whole lot of cash......
