I would say the odds are about 50/50 that the largest nugget at Ruby has been found already. Which means we have an excellent chance to find one even larger.

There was a 25 lb nugget found in N Yuba River near Downieville by the early miners. Thats even bigger than the ruby nugget. No doubt this is big gold country.
