If you worry every time you see a post making a wildly inaccurate claim against the company that is refuted by many resources of the very highest credibility (pubmed, patent offices, etc etc) then maybe reading stock message boards of high tech stocks is not the best approach for you. (There are many other ways of doing due diligence.) SMBs (GOOD oones, that is) can be a good way to find out the current most important details about a company but to do this you MUST be able to sort the wheat from the chaff. There will be some deep insight and highly useful supplemental information on a good board (like this one) but there will be complete rubbish as well.

Every high stock board I've ever been on (many dozens in the last 15 years) has had repeated attacks by posters making flagrantly false claims with no evidence whatsoever to support them and refuted by very strong independent and objective sources.

It's an absolutely inescapable part of using stock message boards. YOu can put all of the objectionable posters on ignore but you will still see the responses to them.

The effective way to deal with such "low quality" posting (to put it exceedingly generously) is to note the counter evidence that promptly appears on a good board such as this one, or to dig up some counter evidence of your own (you should do that at least occasionally for the benefit of the learning experience as well as doing your part to support the board)

It's just like public Junior high schools (in the USA): you have to run the gauntlet of trash talk in the hallways and learn to take it for what it's worth: ZILCH. ZERO. NADA

The rule of perversity in high tech stocks: the better the company does, the more trash talk there is on its boards. Consider it the price of success.

PS you can put posters on "ignore" Click on their screen name and you'll get their profile (as in the example below)
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/profilea.aspx?user=60546

on the left side of the page, fourth line below their picture is "ignore this 'member'"
click on it and you won't see their post's anymore.

(on some boards, clicking on several ID's will reduce the number of messages to read by half with no loss of quality at all. (quite the contrary)
