I was thinking about Saliva and its transition to Alere - what were the monetary effects for Saliva shareholders - did they benefit?

If so, it would make those claims about Saliva being a lark look rather shallow.

The claim that Dr. Seymour never brought a product to market is not proven false by what you posted. This is another company, that he is/was not involved with.

The question of how SD shareholders faired when Alere got a hold of his product (still not sure what transpired there) is a good question.
