I have a PS4. Its sitting near the TV right next to me.

I have probably played it for a total of 30 minutes ever since i plugged it in.

But yes, it is nice.

You've lost your mind. That's PS4 propaganda. Both have their own merits. The new Kinect is reason alone to get an xbox one.

The more I have been reading on the xbox 1 / ps4 I can see distinct differences between them.

It appears the ps4 may be a better pure gaming machine (although I am not sure by what margin; most games will probably be identical, some will be a bit different due to the fact they seem to be upscaling the graphics on some for the xbox1)

The xbox1 if it all works fluently the way the videos I am watching show, it should be a very interesting entertainment center. I thought it was neat how it could take your cable feed and bring it into the xbox and you could control it through connect. "xbox, show hbo". Gimmicky to some, kewlness to others.

It all comes down to what you are looking for.

I was leaning way towards the ps4 at first (i had an xbox360, bought a ps4 because it had bluray) and to be honest I very seldom now play games, use the ps4 for movies / netflix mostly.

5 years ago when i was playing games a lot, i probably would go hands down on PS4, now if I were to buy, I would have to read a lot of reviews because i am leaning towards xbox1 but the extra price and monthly charge for their xbox live bugs me.

For now I will be sitting it out and wait to see.
