I just don't get this flat guidance either. They seem to be doing the same thing that CSCO did a couple of weeks ago. CSCO went down 12% because they guided one quarter down and a flat year. This sounds panicky, just like Chambers.
Why is INTC guiding flat?
1. They are planning a price was to crush the ARMy? I am fine with that. They have a cost advantage. I disagree with mas- it did work in the LT before.
2. There is a global slowdown that is just hitting them, just like CSCO. CSCO says it happened in the last 6 weeks. OK- I would be fine with that, but why didn't they say so. How about some details?
3. They are not getting traction on ANYTHING? I don't get that, but they owe us an explanation.
Investors have paid for all this additional capital and R&D for three years. If it isn't paying off, why are they doing it for another year. What is the cash flow projection for this year? This was a really dumb way to end this meeting. We deserve an explanation and more detail.
