I doubt she is, since I have known Higgins professionally for years - this is what I know about her - my opinion only.
She is CPA with a certification in Fraud and Forensics. She has been the girl behind the scenes with many companies and was instrumental at MXenergy and taking their debt public in the form of bonds. Then spearheaded their SEC reporting process before they were acquired by constellation.
She spend years working at CPA firms on fraud cases and restructuring public companies. She is very highly regarded and sought after in Houston, TX by top executives. She was vetted and offered the position as CFO of Weatherford, which she declined.
Personally - She is a widow and a devoted single mother with two small children. She devotes free time to community activities and church. She tries to "save" everyone she meets and bring them to God - and does not have a dishonest bone in her body.
Professionally - she knows her stuff. Her work has withstood audits by the Big 4 and litigation by some of the largest US firms time and time again. Her downside is she is opinionated and stubborn. However as she has made me a lot of money over the last 10 years - downsides can be overlooked.
