I would not bet heavily that the highs are in for the day. I am not expecting a lot out of the markets today, but after several tries, the bears have not been able to generate any downside momentum, the $USD is still up and support buying in all the usual suspects has kept them right around the unchanged level. Taken together, all the above argues that the bulls are going to get another shot at the upside here shortly.

Just my opinion, though.

Do we hear a guess for 1pm? Going once, going twice......<g>

At least the 1pm high has us turning back at 920 on the SPX. And the TICK has been down trending since the HOD around 12:35ish. And hitting the back button :( to see what the PREM is doing, we hit sell levels at 1:15. Hm, PREM has been putting in low highs so far from the HOD at the open. Very nice straight line to it.
