The under invested institutions and other retail investors will drive the stock up. You will see this within the next month if not sooner.

Only news-driven market pull can breach 36
IMHO,
and no amount of purple prose or investment push
will do it.
When a simple headline (Qualcomm royalty story) is
in the bag, it will happen.

Obviously a lot of wealthy believers think it is sufficiently imminent
that they've placed their bets and announced them, but the placing of those bets was not enough to push the price above the "resistance."
Here's hoping they're right and the coattails effect happens for us.

Hi Skeptic,

Sometimes I think you are trying too hard to live up to the name "skeptic".

There will be a market, with buyers and sellers. Ask youself, in the event of a settlement, WHO is going to sell at 40 or 50 dollars. Some will want to buy, even us ALL IN people, will find a car or a shirt to sell so that we can buy more at 40 and 50. Some of us will borrow (margin) to buy. But there will be NO sellers. The buyers, including the covering shorts, will bid higher, they will say OK how about 60. But no sellers yet. At some price, there will be buyers and sellers. RMBS will undoubtedly OVERSHOOT by some 20 to 40%, and then settle down at whatever its "value" is.

"This is the part that worries me - when guys with deep pockets like Stuart and ownerofbusinees and the rest of us with medium or shallow pockets have exhausted our resources buying as many bus tickets as we can, who will take this stock to 40 and 50 and on up?"

In the same line of thinking you can say with all the shorts and all the fud from Greenberg etc., you can ask who then is supporting the price at around 35. there have been numerous times when there was a concerted amount of selling trying to take down the stock and it has bounced back (so far) through all of it. so who's buying?
