The Wright Bros were professionals. They spent a lot of time studying the physics of flight prior to Kitty Hawk and helped push the boundaries of aero science.
That said, JBII is not disruptive tech. Pyrolysis has been around for decades. JBII won't even be a faint blip on big oil's radar. The majors do more oil in 10 minutes than JBI will ever do in 10 years.
