Yes, I love the "choice" arguement. Because it seems to me that abortion is the third strike in a string of bad choices.
Take the example of any woman that does NOT wish to become pregnant. First, in probably 99% of all abortion cases, she CHOOSES to have sex. While this is not a significant transgression for an adult woman (or her partner) it becomes a significantly bad CHOICE for say, a 14 year old. Second, the woman (or couple) CHOOSES not to use birth control. Another exceedingly bad choice for any person that doesn't want to get pregnant.
Now, liberals would have you believe that it is a woman's right to choose whether she would have this abortion. She has already chosen poorly twice in this, and now we have to abide the third choice, this time ending the pregnancy she shouldn't have had in the first place.
I can agree with abortion as I am fairly moderate socially. But I do not agree with the logic of the choice arguement, nor do I accept that abortion is birth control. With 40 million abortions since Roe v. Wade, who among us believe that it is not?
