Rumors north of 59 are that Martin and his liberal predecessor Chretien both had problems phoning POTUS. It seems that he was always ‘engaged’. Voice mail was an option. W’s voice mail system seemed to need upgrading, ‘cause it would take a week or more for him to get back to the PM.
Ain’t anti-Americanism grand? :-)

I believe that Harper will soon show the Canadian voters that he isn’t ‘scary’ like the liberals and their media buddies portrayed him to be.

Me too, Craddock.

I hope Prime Minister Harper does a good job and eases the fears of mild liberals. There is no hope for the radical left (that is evident down here). Perhaps he will win converts as time goes by.

I wish him and Canada well.
