Right, you seem like a nice kid with a good sense of humor and seem pretty level headed. No one is questioning your conduct on the site.

However, we don't allow minors on the boards for several reasons.

For me, the most important ones being that message boards are tough for adults to traverse. These are anonymous people who say things like "Sorry I haven't been posting lately, just got back from my 10 day business trip across Asia" but when we look at their IP it shows that they've been accessing the site for the last 10 days from Idaho. Hopefully, you aren't cynical enough yet to assume everyone is probably lying and message boards require a lot of skepticism.

There are a lot of nefarious people associated in different ways with this market and they often find their prey on message boards. Whether it be duping someone into buying/selling securities or getting them involved in illegal activities - these are not situations/temptations that any parent would want their child exposed to.

Additionally, there are hundreds of thousands of adults trading the OTC market who have lost a large amount of money. I'm not interested in watching a kid blow his life savings or an inheritance.

In the years I've been here, I've had to send out too many PMs with the Suicide Hotline information desperately hoping that the person doesn't carry through with their stated intentions.

This world is no place for someone under 18.
