If there is more money to be made it is almost always a good idea to do so .
Tnc could be a little pissed treaty got themselves another driller
No need to fight, tnc was just a little too greedy IMO and took advantage of treaty at a weak moment, never a good idea to do that in any walk of life unless short and sweet kiss

Also might be declining production of 3&4 prompted treaty to give up some production in exchange for debt release.
TNC kind of put the screws to treaty but business is business.
You never know what happens in business, tnc one day may be the one wearing the knee pads not treaty. And of course that day may never come
