Peregrine management has never spent much effort to please shareholders IMO other than attempting to bring a blockbuster cancer drug to market or sell the company for a huge profit. If they can do either of those, the years of neglect will be forgiven. If they can't, then we longs will eat huge losses. Not a game for the faint of heart or those who can't afford to absorb a big loss.
The issue is still in doubt, but we are sitting much prettier than we were for the vast majority of the time I've held Peregrine shares. Am I nervous, you bet your a**. However, one more bad share price week does not bother me. I don't enjoy it, but we have seen many of these over the years. The question remains can Peregrine deliver the goods or not. Despite management indifference to my angst, I think they will deliver. It won't be as soon as I'd like, but I think they stumbled into good fortune via Doctor Thorpe and the end result will be rewarding.
