The "middle of next month" sounds to me like just an acceptable stall period. It was to be a one week delay, but that turned into a month delay, presumably to allow for scheduling conflicts to be resolved. Usually, when such a delay is announced, those conflicts have been resolved and a fixed date is announced. We don't have a date - all we have now is another put-off...
This is not about the schedules of the JMC members - a $10,000 speaking engagement does not take priority over a $200 million+ oil deal that's dragged on for years. This is about STP's continued resistance and their attempts to make deals. They simply are not yet ready to sign, and they are not ready to meet.
I think it's all but a given that the drilling results in B1 will be favorable. What I would like to know is:
1) how long to drill (45 days, likely)
2) reasonable timeframe for results (+ 15 days to log, study)
3) what those results can tell about the field (how much can be known about the field potential from a single drill)
4) how will the results affect the mindset of the STP JMC delegates
