Glance alot of people are doing just what you are. I have quite a few stocks where I buy a comfortable amount and then just forget about them. some do really well... some disapear... Others I trade actively. One thing that I do is to keep a nominal amount of every stock I trade. I must have THE most diversified portfolio out there... some I only hold one share some thousands... We all do this differently.
