GOOG collapsing? Not even down 20% off the highs after an over 50% run in a handful of months. Very sudden, yes, but not as calamatous as all that.
You also listed five possible reasons for the selloff THEN added yield curve AND mentioned the Fed. That's seven reasons. Do you need more? And also... does it matter?
I don't make too much from one day, and was bullish (though not wahzianly) up til now. Some supports are getting broken today on some serious volume. Could easily be climactic selling in the QQQQs for instance... but it's still and all a pretty bloody day. Banks, in particular, as a sector look ugly... and I'm in the camp that says the oil stocks either pullback or rest here, so I'm at a loss for what pulls non-tech higher, as those are the two sectors that have rallied the market.
