Richard Clarke tried to escalate the issue of bin Laden and Al Quaeda in the Bush administration and was ignored... when he spoke out about it later, he was trashed in classic Rovian style. He is someone who knows what he's talking about IMO. Have you read his book Against All Enemies? Tell me why you think he should be discredited.
