(Conclusion: Demand is NOT dropping, in fact the volume of coins and bars sold today has risen DRAMATICALLY! Thus, demand is present, compare time stamps interval to the other 2 messages at the end of this posting...)
That's an average of $579.74, with February $GOLD futures currently at $559.50, the premium is still over $20. While I've noticed the premium is sinking, it's still substantial over $20. And also remember these sales are going off in the United States, so that's a plus in itself as I believe the net buyers of $GOLD are in the oil-rich nations and generally in Asia...
