to 88F in Marrickville 7.3 km from Sydney .. Inner West toward the airport .. 93F forecast ..

just heard the rain did subdue the fires somewhat .. wind building in the
area though is negatively impacting on aerial efforts to combat the fires ..

that's up 15 degrees in 3.25 hours .. good news is that evidence
is some 100 lightning strikes last night did not start any new fires ..
