Unless you go after safe shorts with relatively close stops. I would not short snorters here, they can run another 10%. If you have to short (not wanting to miss "an opportunity"), you should wait till the VIX turns back up or a decline is in motion (thus you will not be missing too much of your capital in case you are wrong), IMTO.
