Philly industrial base is dominated by chemical, pharmaceutical, financials, and refiners. With the exception of pharma, big buy side money starts buying these names when they think the economy troughs, not when the earnings start improving.
TICK hit 1000+ at 3:49. This is the last chance to get stocks. After today, they will no longer be sold. <g> At least you would think so looking at the TICK. Just eyeballing it, I would say the TICK has spent over 50% of the day over 500+.
