Not at all unrealistic, and lesser pipelines have been bought for more. Plus, there will be some revenue from Iclusig - even $25MM/yr would keep a small science-based company going just fine.

I will take a positive view of of the lack of announcements from the company as an indication of planning. Announcements coinciding with presentations at ASH would be the obvious timing, especially if there is anything interesting in the posters (the content of which would have been planned at least a month ago).

Vid, I don't think $2B unrealistic at all (though I don't think Ariad will be sold).

Ariad has ap. a year's worth of money at current spending (which can be
curtailed to extend available time). So, there will be no fire-sale.

If they're back on track by the end of the year (as Dr.Berger stated), market
sentiment will change on a dime.

I just read thru the posts (links fr. zip, THANKS!!) by p3analyze and jq, and it's
very calming to consider the medical/scientific side of things. Away from the
mad world of the "street" and the sharks circling about, it's just a matter of
understanding the issues, and solving problems.

The painful reality is that we're sitting on a huge loss, with weeks of uncertainty
to look forward to. And I say weeks, since I think we'll have at least enough
info as we move toward ASH, to set expectations in some reasonable direction.
