Ihub is a financial site, how in the world could they have decided to cut off chart posting abilities in favor of two completely useless and in no way informative columns. Complete lack of foresight by anyone involved in the design process.
Exactly. It was thoughtless and arrogant of them. Everyone who does site design needs to understand how people USE the site. And to understand that they may use it in ways that are not necessarily compatible with their latest chi-chi idea.
IHub has done many "upgrades" in the past that some people grumbled about at first. But never has one been greeted with the kind of unanimous hostility as this one has.
As you say, the difference is that this one affects functionality, and in no small way. It subtracts what people want--a large space in which to read and write messages--with useless crap no one finds interesting or helpful.
That is just stupid.
