Come on wahz. A lot of those "pessimists" you are talking about are also the same Bush right wing supporters and French haters. And the French were not alone in wanting a peaceful resolution and useless destruction. The whole world (including 85% of England and 95% of Spain) were against the unnecessary illegal destruction of Iraq. And given that no WMDs were used or have been found, it was truly unnecessary and illegal. So if anyone is looking for destruction, they are the same ones who are supporting this illegal and criminal administration who seems hell bend to destroy the whole world. Syria anyone? Iran? Pakistan? Saudi Arabia? All targets of destruction. So I think you have some things mixed up IMHO.
