#42482 RE: I Need Help #42472

As a realist, the road to successful drug trials can be fraught with dangers other than the drugs not working, as Polymedix has shown.

The high level players include Big Pharma, FDA, Venture Funds, Brokerages/MMs. Lower tier players (and I am not meaning to be pejorative here) includes sponsors, host hospitals, Doctors, researchers.

Different metaphors come to mind:

Chess: Leo must anticipate his opponent's moves and think a few steps ahead. At the moment it appears as though the Brokerage firms/MMs have him boxed-in under $2, which is a key share price for uplist when that price is maintained for the required period ( whereas $3 and above creates an immediate opportunity if all other requirements have been met).

Its not beyond the pale to believe that offers from Brokerage firms might be made to Leo such as "we'll run your stock on the OTC if you can provide us with X number of shares under the table." (I doubt Leo would succumb).

Or Venture Funds could demand a large piece of the CTIX pie in exchange for funding of trials (which is why the Aspire deal was so positive and telling-- Leo didn't acquiesce and take the first offer, but instead played from a position of knowledge and strength).

Horses (for Pete): All the major players are in the paddock, checking the pedigree of what they are about to bid on (K, P, B drugs) and the reputation of the jockeys (Ehrlich and Menon). The more advanced the Ph 1 K trial becomes, the greater Leo's position of strength.

Also, Big Pharma and the FDA have been known to play footsie under the table, which is why I am glad that Leo has already established a relationship with Pfizer (which could help grease the wheels). I would hate any other scenario that might attempt to block progress or response time from the FDA.

These are just a few of the potential roadblocks/obstacles that might present themselves, but so far I have been impressed with Leo's savvy and ability to execute.

And just FYI... the company currently has a medical "advisory board" but no independent Board of Directors. At last report they were interviewing candidates.

Truth, Leo and the board must be considering financing options. I trust they will do the best they can

Personally, I like BK's scenario of Ph 2/b for the B drug getting the company a stepping stone by next Spring, but for all I know impending positive lab results from the PH1 K trial at DF might provide enough leverage by itself.
