that's a one-way street you're talking about. the moment you hit the send button on your so-called personal message, it no longer belongs to you. granted, there may be a degree of cyber etiquette attached that says publication of private messages is not right, but that's totally at the discretion of the recipient. you have no permission to grant.
when you voluntarily send unsolicited personal information about yourself to another, you just made that information public.
