Yeah I knew that method for a long time lol

Not slow anymore, I figured out I have to leave all badges and the notifications on, before iOS7 i would turn them off but I guess I cant do that anymore.

Mine is slow also and sometimes that trick works for me. After the ios7 update it does seem a bit slower to react and today the the trick did not work. Had to shut down and reload.
