gap is possible, but I'll tell u this. I gap lots of junk and have found the best gappers are the ones that are up nice on the day but close off the highs by a decent margin. GNIN may prove different because it was inch mode all day so no real speed move yet... but a nice tall wick to fill in on the following day is never a bad thing.
More and more I'm finding myself buying late day/lunch dips and selling into the actual 15 min rush before the close just because next day when it doesn't gap the trade is crowded and a big dip occurs right after open. Not saying that will happen, but just my experience lately with HOD closers. Also have had some that that gapped nice, but can't fill the sell and end up flat or worse red... ahem NPHC...
