When I say out of pocket, I mean I pay a monthly HMO price of ~1k for the whole family; we're fully insured. Out of pocket was not the right term, sorry. I mean I pay for my own Family HMO since everyone is unemployed.

I pay $512.00 a year for a million dollar umbrella policy that covers my health, life, auto and home. I am getting ready to up it to 10 million.

thats why you make sure you have "uninsured motorist" protection.. Here in New York, they will jerk your registration if you let insurance expire.. they play hardball if you go driving around after that.. When I was living down south in Texas, it was just a fine for no insurance.. then theyd take your license if you got caught a couple times.. Been in a couple wrecks with uninsured, underinsured.. lucky Im still walkin after getting smacked on my scotter at a light by a Suburban.. BTW.. The 1500 classic was a dream bike of mine when it first hit the street.. ;]
