Agreed. But Amarantus's presentation isn't until 4:55pm EST. If there were news to drop, a PR could be issued anytime today or even after market close.
Personally I don't expect it. Any news of "testing going well" or "progressing nicely" will just pop the stock to drop back down...and G knows this. We've all seen the pattern too many times. Only when a deal is struck, will we get the word. IMO

Thing is, we need an official pr from AMBS before conference to hear anything. Companies have legal obligations to update shareholders on major news. He can't just drop it at a conference. So far, it's looking like nothing today.

Technically, he could. His presentation is scheduled for after the market closes, so a PR could be released after the close and before the presentation.

But there no precedent for substantive news being presented from the AMBS conference podium.
