Fact of the matter is this... End of the day on Sept 4 there was some activity that carried over to Sept 5th. This began to have a major increase in volume on Sep 5, 8 million shares vs the 10 day average of 225,000 a day. The PPS began to move up as well, on Friday the 6th it continued to increase up to 10 million in volume with another increase in the PPS.
This jump was thought to be because of possible insider information as to a follow up of the June 24 PR coming out. This increase also caught the eye of Jake, who runs the Flex board and he did some very good DD on the company and put it out on his board and to those who get his emails. This stock currently has a very low float for a sub penny, the major debt holders pushed back until Nov the conversion date on the notes they hold, so there is no fear of dilution at the moment.
So based on that the stock has taken off this morning and will continue to be a speculative play for a few days or until news does come out...but if nothing happens by late week you will see those who grabbed it today sell it and move on. So to answer your question, thats what cause the large volume today.
