I've been using Etrade for 10 years. i think i have been using etrade for much longer than that. i just found some 1999 etrade hard copy.

i have one complaint:

they wiped out the acquisition dates on all my stocks recently. they also posted 2012 prices for them. they recovered about 3/4 of them when i went ballistic. i had to find the other 20 myself. this required digging back to individual transactions dating from 2005-06, and thereabouts.

Yes, I have to call them to release the "buying power".

I am told that they are fixing this in the next 2 weeks, so it is a hassle... this isn't the case for margin accounts.
