The one that I always liked was proving that .999 with the little bar over the top was equal to 1. Same idea probably.

sarals: Oddly enough, I was a math/analytical geek starting in high school and on through graduate school as well. Strange, because females are not generally known for math/analytical geekiness. I don't know if I still have it in me, but I sure did then.
