Revelation 21:1-5

21 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
( not a literal new heavens and earth for as Ecclesiastes 1:4 says " the earth abides forever "- but a cleansed heavens of satan and his demons and a heavenly kingdom established -and a cleansed earth after Armageddon of the wicked and wickedness under kingdom rule-no more sea tells of no more wicked as Isaiah
56:20 says " the wicked are like the sea"-we must remember that revelation is highly symbolic as 1:1,2 says)
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
( as later stated this involves the " bride" of Christ who will rule with him as "kings and priests" for 1000 years-
Thus bringing the earth and humankind to perfection once again -the original purpose of creating them which
Must be fulfilled as Isaiah 55:11 states-revelation 14:1:5 says those involved in kingdom rule with Christ number
144,000 and called "the Israel of God " at Galatians 6:16-spiritual Israelites circumcised of heart-and in the new
Covenant - chapter 7 also refers to them as spiritual Israelites - they must be sealed by God prior to the battle of Armageddon and will join Christ in heaven-Luke 12:32 calls them a "little flock " )
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
( almighty God dwells with men in a figurative way as no man can see him and live as exodus 33:20 says-
But thru his kingdom government under his beloved and firstborn Son , Jesus Christ ,he is with them , giving them his attention and direction)
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
( humankind will be cured of all imperfection-and brought back to perfect youth - they will
Have the capability of living forever here on a perfect paradise like earth-as indicated in psalm 37:9-11,29-and
Isaiah 11:6-9 and chapter 35 and other scriptures)
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
