First post - long time reader - been holding this stock for over a year. Finally getting excited at the prospects.

The way I see it the delay is about them buying time.

Time for what?

My take is they have a new website coming out 1Q 2006. They want to make sure this thing is working like a charm (no bugs) and stress test the hell out it before there is a national rollout sending many more potential subs to the site.
I also bet they maybe giving themselves some time to gear up from all directions (marketing, dvd & game stock, servers, customer service, etc etc).

If CC was not happy, they would have cut bait - buying time is a mutual decision, which means they are still acting like a team - smart.

I tend to agree that it's a red herring. The system IMO, is ready to go. Unless they've only got 1 or 2 people working on it, there couldn't be much of anything left to do.

My guess is that we're waiting for another DC or two before we can support demand that the National Rollout would bring.

fringe, thank you very much for your informative response. I repeat, I am asking questions about a subject I know nothing about. If your reponsse is anything like I would receive if I asked you about charts I'd prefer to remain ignorant.

I'm in agreement Fringe. I don't think this has anything to do with the perfecting the system on either end.
