Hi ILS, actually I get a different message from the Wal-Mart vs Luxury Retailer #'s - It tells me that the middle to lower income classes are not fairing well. This is not good as far as overall consumer discretionary spending goes. It is the middle to lower income classes that have carried this economy, not the upper echelon. Simply put, the upper income class makes up a much smaller percentage of overall consumption. If those middle to lower income purse strings tighten then so does the noose around this economies neck.
