SP, cost is not an issue in today´s notebook industry. From that perspective there is nothing stopping them from adopting Turion.

But they are publicly crowing about how they are betting heavily on Yonah for the next half year with their notebooks. Yonah is the next big thing in the notebook space, it is expected to raise notebook ASPs (and profitability) again for the entire industry. Especially in the early stages of the ramp, they depend on INTEL´s goodwill when it comes to timely and sufficient supplies to execute their (very) early adopter strategy.

And then there´s the usual INTEL tactics.

And the volumes AMD can ship at a given point in time.

That´s it from my perspective.
