Is one purchase of 100 shares for $3000 really that significant? It definitely make your account look batter and may make your significant other feel better. It could be significant if there is follow up tomorrow with bigger volumes and higher prices.
On the other hand it could be some mistakenly putting in a market order. We'll see.
