If he divulges insider information, he is still bound by SEC laws, rules, and regulations. Regardless of whether he is a principal, or not.

Even if the PR were not fake, it still says BRND has non-exclusive rights, which means he had not entirely released BRND from their contract.

So, no matter how you slice the cake, this "PR" releases insider info subject to SEC regulations.

Remember, even ex-insiders (ex-CEOs, ex-CFOs, ex-Directors) are bound by confidentiality agreements that remain effective long after termination/resignation.

Snowden is a perfect example of ignoring confidentiality agreements and the repercussions for doing so.
