HUI indeed overbought here and could be making a short-term top.

But POG which usually lags the HUI still has a lot of upside potential IMHO.

I am assuming that HUI is following Dec 03-Feb 04 pattern. HUI peaked in December/January but juniors continued to advance until February.

IMO shorting NEM is very reasonable, especially if this is a hedge against juniors (don't know whether you have any).

I feel uncomfortable selling/shorting miners when Rydex is bullish.
