I had that, "oh my gosh, how is this possible?" feeling when it was running up to 3 and I recalled another stock I sat and watched, figuring that they next day it'd keep climbing. If you're up 40+ percent, for goodness sake, take some profits. It has to settle back down to a new range and you can buy in again. I took some profits on the 0.56 cent shares I had and when it rested back down, bought more. Glad I secured that profit. I also look at other factors, like if it's being touted a lot, and if the news is good, but not earth shattering. The news wasn't game changing yet, but it will be. Have plenty of shares for what that comes.
