Not to pick on you, but there is a recurring misunderstanding on this board. WEST is not the company that makes Westinghouse solar lights.
I suggest folks read up on Westinghouse on Wikipedia, and on google/finance. Look at all the companies with Westinghouse in the name, or some sort of affiliation with the Westinghouse name.
WEST = Westinghouse Solar, formerly known as Akeena Solar. They worked out an arrangement with some sort of Westinghouse entity, to bring name recognition to their company. WEST lists two and only two products, both are rooftop photovoltaic units. http://www.westinghousesolar.com/index.php/products
WEST does not make solar lights. Those are most likely made by Westinghouse Lighting Corp, or one of the other Westinghouse-labeled enterprises.
So no matter how much you love those little solar yard lights, and how many MalWart stores carry them, it is not WEST.
In related news, WEST is not Westinghouse Air Brake; Westinghouse Electric Corp.; TECO-Westinghouse Motor Co; Toshiba; CBS; Viacom; Siemens Westinghouse; etc.
FYI you guys. $WEST is in my backyard. They have a pretty good sized manufacturing facility in Newington N.H... I've driven by the location & done some basic physical inspections & trying to work the balance sheet. From the outside $WEST appears undervalued. There seem to always be 3- 100 cars ( employees ) at this location & I recently purchased Westinghouse Solar LED outdoor flood lights and driveway / walkway marker lights at Walmart . West also has a flat screen t.v. or two for sale at Big Lots.. Or at least they did a couple of months ago when I was looking for a cheap TV for a second bedroom. All right I hope these guys don't end up "q'd Seems like a decent place to grab a few shares here in the mid 02's
