In 3dmark Ice Storm Z3770 Bay Trail-T seems to match almost the 3.9W Temash score. However I think the much better CPU in Bay Trail-T helps a bit in 3dmark Ice Storm.

Thanks. This data wasn't available when I did my projection, but it's within the range I expected, given that my projection was dependent in large part with the amount of frequency the graphics core could clock within the constrained power envelope.

Bottom line is that Bay Trail and Temash both seem to offer performance consistent with Snapdragon 600 or Exynos 5410, but it's unclear how high Bay Trail will scale in less constrained TDPs. I'm guessing the notebook and desktop versions of the chip will probably offer some 3DMark headroom, just as Snapdragon 800, Tegra 4, and the like will similarly offer.

I think Intel will have a competitive platform for the majority of tablets - but I don't expect Bay Trail to scale nearly as well as Temash or the others in larger devices. Then again, I don't think Intel needs more than this to gain share and become a significant player. If the price points are competitive, this part will ramp very quickly.
