OT: histo, that's the whole problem w/ cellphones too. And that's why GlobeTel's Sanswire division stratellite will be the end-all-be-all solution to wireless communication across the board. Those ships can carry so much payload, I can see Dish Network and Direct TV scrapping their satellites (so to speak) and leasing space onboard a Sanswire airship to overcome their shortcomings as well.

Incorrect. This is no longer true. Although DSL and cable is faster, dish is a powerful solution for those without access to the former. I use DirecWay. Upload and download is via satellite connection.
